Ukraine says it downs second A-50 Russian spy plane
Ukrainian officials have announced that they have shot down a second A-50 Russian spy plane in the ongoing conflict between the two countries.
The A-50 is a surveillance aircraft used by the Russian military to gather intelligence on enemy movements and activities. This marks the second such incident in recent months, with Ukraine claiming to have downed another A-50 earlier this year.
The Ukrainian government has stated that it will not tolerate any violations of its airspace and will continue to take action to protect its sovereignty.
Russia has denied the claims, calling them “provocative” and accusing Ukraine of fabricating the incidents to create tension between the two countries.
