Russia says 38 Ukrainian drones intercepted in Crimea
Russia has announced that it intercepted 38 Ukrainian drones in Crimea, with a spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry stating that the drones were conducting reconnaissance missions over the region.
The spokesperson also stated that the drones were detected and brought down by Russian air defense systems, preventing them from gathering intelligence on Russian military installations in Crimea.
This incident comes amidst heightened tensions between Russia and Ukraine, with both countries accusing each other of violating the ceasefire agreement in the region.
Ukraine has denied any involvement in the drone flights, stating that they do not conduct military operations in Crimea and that the accusations are false.
Both countries have called for a de-escalation of tensions and a return to dialogue to resolve the conflict peacefully.
