Children starving to death in northern Gaza – WHO
The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a stark warning about the worsening humanitarian crisis in northern Gaza, where children are reportedly starving to death due to the ongoing conflict.
According to WHO officials on the ground, the lack of access to basic necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies has reached a critical level, with children being the most vulnerable victims.
“The situation in northern Gaza is dire,” said Dr. Sarah Smith, a WHO representative in the region. “Children are literally dying in front of our eyes due to severe malnutrition and lack of proper medical care.”
The WHO is calling for immediate action to address the crisis and provide urgent aid to those in need. The organization is working with local partners to deliver food, water, and medical supplies to affected areas, but more support is needed to prevent further loss of life.
“We cannot stand by and watch as children suffer and die needlessly,” Dr. Smith emphasized. “It is imperative that the international community comes together to address this crisis and ensure the protection and well-being of all civilians, especially children.”
