Ukraine says half of all Western military aid delayed
According to a statement released by Ukrainian officials, half of all Western military aid has been delayed, causing concerns about the country’s ability to defend itself against Russian aggression.
The delay in military aid comes at a time when tensions between Ukraine and Russia are at an all-time high, with ongoing conflict in the eastern regions of Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Western allies to expedite the delivery of military aid to Ukraine, stressing the importance of support in the face of continued aggression from Russia.
Western countries, including the United States, have pledged military aid to Ukraine as part of efforts to bolster the country’s defenses and deter further Russian aggression in the region.
