‘I refuse to die’: Couple saved from Valencia fire hail dramatic rescue

In a heart-pounding rescue operation, a couple trapped in a blazing inferno in Valencia were saved by firefighters just in the nick of time. The couple, who have requested to remain anonymous, expressed their immense gratitude to the brave first responders who risked their lives to save them.

“I refuse to die,” one of the survivors shared, recounting the terrifying moments as flames engulfed their home. “I kept telling myself that I had to hold on, that I had to stay strong for my partner. And thanks to the heroic efforts of the firefighters, we made it out alive.”

The fire broke out in the early hours of the morning, quickly spreading through the building. The couple was trapped on the upper floor, with no way to escape. But thanks to the swift response of the fire department, they were rescued just in time.

“It’s a miracle that we’re still here,” the other survivor said, tears of relief in their eyes. “We owe our lives to those firefighters, who risked everything to save us. They are true heroes.”

The couple is now recovering from the ordeal, but they are determined to move forward with their lives. “We will never forget what happened that night,” they said. “But we also know that we are strong, and we will rebuild.
