World Indoor Championships: Lina and Laviai Nielsen on 4x400m dream

The world indoor championships are just around the corner, and for twin sisters Lina and Laviai Nielsen, this is the opportunity of a lifetime to fulfill their dream of competing together in the 4x400m relay. The sisters have been training tirelessly, pushing each other to their limits to ensure they are in peak form for the championships.

Both Lina and Laviai have had successful individual careers, with Laviai representing Great Britain at the Rio Olympics and Lina winning multiple national titles. However, the chance to compete together in a relay event is something they have always dreamed of.

“It’s surreal to think that we could be lining up next to each other on the track at the world indoor championships,” Lina said. “We have always talked about how amazing it would be to share this experience together, and now it’s finally becoming a reality.”

The sisters have been working closely with their coach to fine-tune their technique and strategy for the relay event. They know that the competition will be fierce, with teams from around the world vying for the top spot. But with their determination and teamwork, Lina and Laviai believe they have what it takes to come out on top.

“We know that we have to give it our all and leave everything out on the track,” Laviai said. “But having each other by our side gives us the confidence to push through the pain and give everything we have for each other.”

The world indoor championships will be a true test of the sisters’ abilities and their bond as athletes. But regardless of the outcome, Lina and Laviai Nielsen are proud to be representing their country and fulfilling their shared dream of competing together in the 4x400m relay.
