Heta knocks teenager Littler out of UK Open
Australian darts player Damon Heta has knocked teenage sensation Beau Littler out of the UK Open, with a 6-3 victory in their second-round match.
Heta, who is ranked 45th in the world, produced a solid performance to overcome the 17-year-old Littler, who had impressed in the opening round with a victory over former world champion Rob Cross.
The defeat was a disappointment for Littler, who had been tipped as a potential dark horse in the tournament, but Heta showed his experience and class to progress to the next round.
The UK Open is one of the biggest events in the darts calendar, with players from around the world competing for the prestigious title.
It was a tough result for Littler to take, but he will no doubt learn from the experience and come back stronger in future tournaments.
