Norway king flies home after Malaysia hospital stay
King Harald V of Norway has flown back to Norway after spending several days in a hospital in Malaysia for a viral infection.
The 83-year-old monarch was on a month-long private holiday in Malaysia when he fell ill and was hospitalized for treatment.
After receiving medical care and rest, King Harald V was well enough to be discharged from the hospital and board a flight back to Norway, where he will continue his recovery.
The Norwegian royal family has expressed their gratitude for the care and support provided by the Malaysian medical staff during King Harald V’s stay in the hospital.
We wish King Harald V a speedy recovery and good health as he returns home.
