I didn’t want anyone to touch my child after rape
As a mother, the thought of someone harming your child is unbearable. But for one mother, the nightmare became a reality when her child was raped.
She recalls the pain, the anger, and the helplessness she felt in the aftermath of the incident. The thought of anyone touching her child, even for medical examination or evidence collection, filled her with dread.
She struggled with the conflicting emotions of wanting justice for her child and wanting to protect them from further harm. The process of reporting the crime, seeking medical help, and navigating the legal system was a grueling and traumatic experience.
She urges other parents in similar situations to seek support, reach out for help, and prioritize their child’s well-being above all else. The road to healing may be long and difficult, but with love, patience, and perseverance, she believes that one can overcome even the darkest of times.
Let this be a reminder to all of us to protect our children, to listen to them, and to believe them when they speak up about abuse. Let us create a safe environment where children can thrive and grow without fear of harm or exploitation.
