Harry Dunn second funeral ‘much harder’ for family
The family of Harry Dunn has held a second funeral for him, describing it as “much harder” than the first one.
Harry Dunn, a 19-year-old British man, was killed in a car crash in August 2019. The woman responsible for the crash, Anne Sacoolas, claimed diplomatic immunity and fled the UK to the US.
His family has been fighting for justice ever since, calling for Sacoolas to return to the UK to face trial. However, their efforts have been met with resistance from both the US and UK governments.
During the second funeral, Harry’s mother, Charlotte Charles, said: “It was much harder this time, I don’t know why, maybe because you’re standing there knowing that you’re going to have to leave him again.”
The family continues to seek justice for Harry and hope that one day they will see Sacoolas held accountable for her actions.
